As an Industrial Project Leader I, you'll manage multiple construction projects of lesser to medium complexity, with small to medium budgets.

We are looking for:

• a BS in engineering, building science or related field is a plus
• 8+ Industrial construction management experience, with at least 2+ years of warehouse automation
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures, processes and project management principles
• Familiarity with food and beverage safety standards
• Outstanding communication, organizational and time management skills

What is the work?

Project Management:

• Manages multiple, highly complex mid to large capital projects
• Manages all aspects of project development. Collaborates with H-E-B business unit, all Manufacturing, Warehouse and Transportation divisions, governing agencies (AHJs) and vendors
• Develops project scope, budget, and schedule with appropriate internal customer(s)
• Prepares request for proposal (RFP)
• Coordinates / conducts project inspections during construction; reports on project status
• Ensures project cost control with a focus on cost reduction; assists in producing cost estimates and preliminary budgets
• Manages bid process for all projects
• Manages project scheduling and compliance
• Facilitates change management process

What is your background?

• A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience within Industrial food and beverage construction
• 8+ years of construction management, or related experience
• PMP certification (preferred)
